Join us for an evening of music by local bluegrass band Train45, beer from Mu Brewery, and brats (vegetarian option available) by StreetEats as Bluff Lake offers its first-ever "Blues, Brews & Brats on the Bluff!" Sponsored by Stapleton MCA, proceeds from this evening event will benefit the Bluff Lake Capital Campaign.

The event will be held at Bluff Lake Nature Center on Friday, May 29 from 6-9 p.m.

Two price tiers will be offered:

• $10 gets you admission to the event, 1 beer or non-alcoholic beverage, and 1 brat (or vegetarian option) with all the fixin's, plus sides.

• $20 gets you admission to the event, a commemorative Blues, Brews and Brats on the Bluff mug, unlimited drink, and 1 brat (or vegetarian option) with all the fixin's, plus sides.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

We will check ID at arrival - no drink tickets ($10 level) or commemorative mugs ($20 level) will be given to ANYONE without ID. Anyone under age 21 will be given a ticket for a non-alcoholic beverage of their choice. Anyone eating at the event will need to register - there is no minimum age limit.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking will be available across the street at Isabella Bird Community School, or west of the Nature Center entrance along the fenceline and on Moline Street.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Camp chairs, blankets, etc. are encouraged, as seating will not be provided. Strollers are permitted for young children. No outside beverages or food (except in cases previously approved by BLNC staff prior to the event).

NO DOGS (except licensed service dogs) are allowed at Bluff Lake. Please leave furry friends at home.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Tickets are transferrable, but all changes to registration must be updated prior to the event to reflect the contact information for the new attendee.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No printed ticket will be provided. Please bring ID and credit card used to secure the registration to the event.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds available. Tickets can be transferred prior to the event to another person (see above).

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Bluff Lake Nature Center is a nonprofit agency that owns and manages a unique urban wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom in Denver. The refuge is home to an abundance of animals and native plants, which thrive in a variety of habitats. Bluff Lake is Denver’s largest open space managed as native habitat, and Denver’s only nonprofit nature center. We rely solely on community support.

Each year, nearly 5,000 area elementary students visit Bluff Lake as part of our mission to “share our unique urban natural area and inspire environmental connectedness and stewardship through experiential education, environmental engagement, and natural area preservation and restoration.”
